The home wiring kit is the entry-level for installing and managing structured cabling for voice, data, and video applications within the residence. This professional-grade 28-inch enclosure creates one distribution point for an apartment or smaller home for all low voltage cables. It comes with three pre-configured structured cabling modules, makes installation easier, and helps reduce labor costs.
Pre-configured enclosures are the simple solution for data, telephone, and TV distribution. These modules feature a space-saving profile and provide simple bridged telephone connections to 4 lines to 8 locations, data connections up to 8 locations, and 2GHz video up to six locations. Wavenet enclosures are ideal for multi-dwelling units and apartments or any place where space and budgets are of great concern.
Designed to be flush-mounted, between wall studs spaced 16" on center. Comes with a remove-able hinged lid with a screw-on option and cam-lock. The lid overlaps the box by 5/8" on each side to help cover imperfections in the drywall edges. Has a universal design that features a hole-slot-hole mounting system that allows it to accommodate shelves, brackets, wire modules, and equipment from many different manufacturers.
The enclosure and cover/door have white powder-coated cold-rolled steel construction that ensures that they keep all edges and surfaces smooth, greatly reducing the possibility of injury or wear on cable jackets. It has space to accommodate multiple modules, knockout holes for cable routing and is designed for either surface or in-wall mounting.
